A beautiful penthouse in Rome:the flying butterflies house in Rome

Living & Design

A long long time ago in a land far far away, there were SEVEN beautiful BUTTERFLIES that used to dance happily. Each butterfly was dressed in a different colour: orange, blue, red, green, yellow, violet and indigo. On a very sad day, the yellow butterfly hurt a wing and fell sick.

Her friends were desperate, they didn’t know how to help her when, suddenly, a strong voice asked them: “Are you willing to make any sacrifice in order to save your friend?” “Yes” they all replied. When the sun rose again, a rainbow appeared in the sky with its seven colours. Now the seven butterflies could stay together forever.

In a 20th Century palace in the heart of the Capital, SILVIA ZAMARION’S place welcomes the little butterflies that play all together before turning into marvellous rainbows.

It doesn’t take long to surprise them. If you sit in the spacious enclosed veranda or in the large living room in the morning, you can watch them chasing each other happily. The house, for its part, is the perfect place to host butterflies and represents the indelible proof of Silvia’s talent for playing with colours.

This beautiful bohemian place, with its well-organized spaces, retractable doors and exterior/interior areas dilating seamlessly, is made of LOVE, HARMONY and ART.

"A three-dimensional, heart-shaped, BRITTO work adorns the walls"

Rome

Artworks combine cheerfully, without appearing pompous or leaving fearful. HEART and SUN are the dominant themes.

A three-dimensional, heart-shaped, BRITTO work adorns the walls. The dining table is a MARIO SASSO piece, like the numerous paintings on the walls.

Doors and windows were decorated by LIDIA SCALZO with resin and stuccoes over glass and wood, turning these classic structural elements into light points for a warm atmosphere. The colourful fabrics, lovely selected by Silvia, balance with sofas and designer armchairs in a joyful way.

We like to think that anyone who will buy this beautiful penthouse will get a piece of art, a contemporary and functional style home and seven beautiful and colourful butterflies dancing every morning for him.

Brava Silvia!
