MAD stands for Marzia Donzelli but also for Made in Italy and for a network connecting artisans and professionals. Marzia designs and chooses fabrics and colours; then her network completes each item with all the quality of Italian craftsmanship.

Marzia is a brave woman in a country like ours; she challenged the crisis and the most obsolete mentality leaving a well-paid job to return to her city, Palermo. She truly believes in what she does. She moves with passion and strength, like her creations that are strong and feminine.

Soft and sensual, colourful and black. Dresses, swimsuits, accessories and jewels come to life from the volcanic islands as a mix of Sicilian creativity and expert, fine Italian craftsmanship. The extreme attention to detail and quality of fabrics give everything a peculiar soul, close to the The Leopard by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa. It embraces you voluptuously as a starry night.

We like to dream of a barefoot walk on the hot rocks at sunset. We like to imagine us dancing, wrapped in these fabulous fabrics, as long as the moon rises and the sun plunges into the sea.
