Sofia Monsurrò - the Neapolitan brand that dresses the Mediterranean woman
The beauty of Neapolitan land
Pasquale Francesco Affinito and Giuseppe Monsurrò make clothing for women who are elegant, classic, and seductive.
To dress in made to measure, one of a kind clothing was an important characteristic of La Dolce Vita, (the Sweet Life) portrayed in the films of Federico Fellini. The legacy of Made in Italy clothing makes us unique and known throughout the world.
Luxury fabrics, precision patterning, and perfect finishes. After Paola Vanacore and her fantastic collection of fabrics, I will share another bespoke clothing brand with you. We are going to Naples to discover a company born out of the determination of two entrepreneurs, Pasquale Francesco Affinito and Giuseppe Monsurrò, founders of Sofia Monsurrò.
These new Made in Italy entrepreneurs are courageous, and by using their diverse skill sets to their advantage, they are able to make dreams a reality.
Sofia Monsurrò designs and produces their own exclusive prints, which are signed individually to ensure their uniqueness. They complete their designs with jewelry and brooches in crystal, which bring a luminous, luxurious feel to the garment.
“We draw inspiration from our Neapolitan roots, from breathtaking views and from tradition.”

Pasquale Francesco Affinito and Giuseppe Monsurrò make clothing for women who are elegant, classic, and seductive
Pasquale Francesco and Giuseppe are inspired by the beauty of their land, and their printed silk fabric represent the wonders of Campania, a region of Italy surrounding Naples. Panoramic views of the Amalfi Coast and glimpses of historical monuments come to life in the wonderful clothing of Sofia Monsurrò.
Their reference to tradition and their land is not only in the printed silk images. The two founders also love to add buttons or pins to their clothes using local materials such as the coral of Torre del Greco, or the porcelain of Capodimonte.
Sofia Monsurrò has been able to grow due to their combination of varying skill sets that merge and compliment each other: the old world sartorial tradition and the new technology of social networking and marketing.
Last but not least, their production is carried out entirely in Italy, from the purchase of fabrics to the production of garments.
Beautiful work!
