After <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marialauraberlinguer.com\/en\/le-mastro-custom-made-shoes\/\">Le Mastro<\/a>, we bring you another producer of custom-made shoes: <strong>Olivia Monteforte.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based in <strong>Pesaro<\/strong> in the Marche region, <strong>Olivia Monteforte\u2019s workshop<\/strong> and atelier merge together into one big open space. Visitors experience the production process from the inside, where they can observe and browse among the <strong>machinery<\/strong> and the <strong>smells of leather<\/strong>, hide and glue.<\/p>\n<h2>Olivia Monteforte shoes: The Magic of Leather Craftsmanship<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Olivia Monteforte<\/strong> holds a degree in <strong>Philosophy<\/strong> and a diploma in <strong>Footwear<\/strong> <strong>Design<\/strong>, both of which she applies to creating <strong>tailor-made shoes.<\/strong> In her workshop, there are no samples, but instead individual prototypes that she makes from scratch, based on each client&#8217;s dreams.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The design process always begins with a \u201c<em><strong>philosophical chat<\/strong><\/em>,\u201d in which Olivia&#8217;s role is to understand exactly the <strong>dreams<\/strong> of her client. The next step is to start <strong>sketching<\/strong> and developing the model and the shape, as well as choosing details such as which type of leather sole to use.
