A house on the Bracciano Lake

In praise of simplicity

Simplicity is the supreme form of sophistication.

The sunset, the sky reflecting on water, the swans planning with innate elegance, the fronds of the olive trees moved by the wind, the colour of lemons, the taste of bread with oil. We are in ITALY.

Let’s leave the noises, traffic, and monumental opulence of ROME to reach the calm, patience and hospitality of this lake in a few minutes.

In BRACCIANO, near the Odescalchi Castle, there’s a house sleeping on the LAKE shores. It’s ready to welcome us and turn our excitement into peace of mind.

Italian Houses

The villa’s character comes from a long family tradition started in the early 20th century and from one of the most important artists in the history of ITALIAN MUSIC, who chose this magnificent place as his refuge, castle and source of inspiration.

On the other hand, its innate simplicity is mainly made by the lake view invading the hall’s large windows, by the accurate selection of materials, by the unpolished stone raw-cutting the stairs, by the regality of the master bedroom with a canopy framing the scene.

Sic et simpliciter. That’s the way it is.

OUR CULTURE IS OUR ELEGANCE: we’re Italians after all.

Immersed in the green of an amazing olive grove with a panoramic view of the Bracciano lake, designed by the famous architect Mezzetti VILLA STELLA DEL LAGO is a one-of-a-kind beauty: the elegant structure, the amazing lake view with the Odescalchi castle, the versatile spaces and the contact with nature, turn this property into a real oasis, just a few feet away from Rome. The olive grove produces 100 litres of pure Italian oil every year.

The villa’s space develops over three floors; the hall can accommodate up to 100 guests, exactly like the underlying living room, while the garden is perfect for 200/250 people.

Upstairs there are three beautiful bedrooms with bathrooms. The sleek, spacious and bright master bedroom has a private terrace and a romantic boudoir.

We like to think that this beautiful lake accommodation will bring to the future owner not only inner peace, but also a pinch of Italian culture and a good litre of olive oil.
